GROEBNER is searching for a few candidates for our Regional Sales Manager, South and West positions as well as for our Regional Sales Specialist positions. This position will participate in, manage and develop the sales region for growth. These positions are also responsible for sales calls and product training within an assigned region.
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Build customer relationships at the highest levels at all large IOU and all customers across the region
Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with business goals
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones
Strategically develop and manage effective programs to coach, appraise, and train Regional Sales Specialist(s) and Regional Customer Care Representative
Facilitate the development and execution of effective sales pitches, presentations, and proposals
Collaborate with Sales Directors and Vice President of Sales on initiatives to meet sales goals
Develop Regional Sales Specialist(s) and Regional Customer Care Representative, which includes schedule planning, goal setting, counseling, and following up on work results
Report sales activities to management team along with recommendations for improvement
Implement and track new product roll out in region
Create and present sales and technical product presentations to customers
Coordinate and provide customer training sessions as needed
Analyze Regional Sales Specialist(s)’ sales numbers to create an action plan to deliver sales growth
Review monthly sales training and development opportunities with Regional Sales Specialist(s) and Regional Customer Care Representative
Maintain sustainable customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction
Participate in the recruitment and on-boarding of new Regional Sales Specialist(s) and Regional Customer Care Representative
Attend industry tradeshows and meetings to understand market trends and opportunities as well as meet with customers and vendors
Partner with the marketing team to ensure a strong brand presence with our customers and vendors
Lead or assist in other duties or special projects as assigned
Regional Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to drive sales within GROEBNER’s Southern territories
Develop sales plan with Regional Sales Manager for key customers to meet and exceed sales goals
Manage sales opportunities with municipalities and contractor accounts
Assist Regional Sales Manager or sales team when required for sales and training
Build relationships with customers to understand issues and offer solutions
Create and present sales and technical product presentations
Coordinate and provide customer training sessions as needed
Make joint sales calls with our manufacturer representatives
Coordinate on developing plans with our manufacturers/ factory representatives on sales goals and forecasts for the region
Analyze and prioritize opportunities within your territory to realize positive growth
Visit various locations within the assigned territory to meet with existing and potential clients to actively seek and obtain orders, either in person or through phone/ email communication
Display, present, and demonstrate product to emphasize marketable features
Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendors’ production and delivery schedules
Work with Regional Customer Care Representative to keep account activities and literature up to date
Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts
Investigate and resolve customer issues
Partner with the marketing team to ensure a strong brand presence with our customers and vendors
Lead or assist in other duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales roles and/or natural gas industry knowledge
Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Must be available to travel 50% in regional territory by vehicle and/or airplane
Skills:

Ability to perform in a professional manner
Ability to manage multi-functional tasks
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to perform in ditch and field demonstrations
Working Environment:
Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods
Must be able to travel for business related matters on a regular basis
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 - 50 pounds
