About the Role
The Lead Compressor Technician provides advanced technical support and leadership in maintaining and operating gas compressor stations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing engines, generators, turbines, and related mechanical or electronic systems to ensure safe, continuous gas operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressor station equipment, including engines, turbines, generators, and controls.
 Ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Oversee and mentor compressor technicians on best practices and safe work procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic control system issues.
- Monitor system performance and support preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain detailed maintenance and inspection records.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to improve performance and reliability.

Schedule
Full-time; may include on-call or rotating shifts as needed.
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in gas compression operations, engine or turbine maintenance, or electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in compressor stations.
- Proven ability to read schematics, interpret technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
